Exhale

Exhale.

And with your breath

Release

All those people inside

Your head.

You love them all,

But only they

Can help themselves.

And so,

Release them.

Send love.

Know that

The highest good

Invites you to bless them with

An outflung breath

While only you remain

Inside the center of your head.

Exhale.

Be empty.

Clear.

Even god walks not

In the dust of another’s journey.

YES! This poem is just wonderful and exactly what I needed to be reminded of today. I absolutely love the last line. I feel myself going, Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Thank you, dear friend, hugs, pat

    Dear Pat,
Thanks for sharing your reaction to Exhale. That space of empty clarity is so amazing–I never stay there long, but I find it again each time with a sense of absolute rightness.
    Blessings,
    Alix
