Doubt (2)

What do I say

To the doubters,

To the ones not sure–

Those who cannot see the phoenix

For the flame?

Who see the earthquake,

But not the souls reclaimed?

If you are one for whom the godlight

Is not quite real

Then know

It fills you still

Like ruby liquor in a loving cup

Too heavy-handled

To lift up.
