Effort is not how we achieve. Effort is the old way—small folk digging peat, struggling for warmth and light.
Humanity is (mostly) done with that. Effort is no longer what we need to get things done. My teacher told me this, and I did not understand. Without work, how could we achieve?
Now I see we are beyond effort, that outdated notion ready for the recycle bin. Now I see that what really powers us is choice. Choice, an ancient battery linking Earth and Heaven. Choice that flows like rivers run, irresistible yet effortless power, movement that is by definition flow.
Choice powers life just as effectively as effort.
I see it, but I don’t entirely get it.
Oh well, I’ll work on it.

I, too, am not sure about this idea but find it very appealing. Certainly, choice is ours. It is our intention that creates the reality. Perhaps this is the key. As always, my dear, you catch my breath and make me think. I love this about you. Keep writing! hugs, pat
Love you!
