The Hardest Thing

It’s not about me

It’s from me

Of me

But not

By me.

Down, Ego!

There’s a good dog.

Thanks for a good laugh. Sometimes I have to laugh when I write a poem about something I have seen and people assume it is about me. Not all poems are autobiographical. Or are they? lol hugs, pat

    Hey Pat,
While it’s true that not everything I write is autobiographical–most of the stuff on this blog is, or I make a note about what inspired me to write it. This piece and Ego Dog are about my continuing attempts to not end up in my ego body when I look at something I have written and say–“Damn, I’m good!”
