In Amusement

So I am laughing.

My spirit has not flown

Into my pen

These many weeks.

Who am I,

Goddess of the Muse,

To have my well run dry?

Deep within my spirit space

There is a revolution taking place,

A coup d’état of being.

Ego is dethroned, merely

A prince among peers—no longer king.

I release convictions

That I am here to heal the whole entire planet.

I draw back to be within my outstretched finger tips;

I yield the hands of those I thought I had

To carry—what hubris!

(They who, in reflection,

Sent hubris back at me.)

My job is simply to be me,

To heal myself,

To journey through time

To that sweet alignment of Spirit where

Breath is better than sex, and the whole world

Is possible,

Is juicy and available as

A red peach in my hand,

Or sex on hot Caribbean sand.

I can make love to myself,

Play myself like a guitar,

My journey a song.

I can heal myself,

Stepping into the compassion that is mine,

Feeling the connection of

A million other lights, and I myself,

Magnificent,

And only

One rainbow in a valley full of Northern Lights.

So I am laughing.

It is so simple, yet

From where I am,

So halfway seen,

And difficult.

Well, I see that you have learned a lot in this “time out.” I especially like this part:

My job is simply to be me,

    To heal myself,

    To journey through time

To that sweet alignment of Spirit

Alix…and this is what it is all about now. When we are in balance, our light goes out naturally and touches others. We do not have to “work” at it. Keep going, you are doing great! love and laughter coming your way!

Thanks, Pat. Lots of juice in this silence. More coming your way!
