Emancipation

You are a mirror

You hold up my pain

So I may release it

You hold up my shame

So I may drain it

You show me my weak self

So I may welcome the goddess within

Fear will not keep me safe.

Like wine drunk from the bowl

Of my own two hands, I know.

Safe is not necessary.

And anyway, in this playground of so many lifetimes,

What’s one bruised incarnation?

  1. Life is a non stop lesson isn’t it? We either learn each lesson and move into a higher spiritual place, within or, we don’t. I used to hate the pain of loss and grieving until I changed my way of thinking after a few ephiphany’s and now I see that the deepest pain I felt was all a part of sharing the deepest soul-love and as such, it was a gift especially meant for me.
    This is lovely.

I love this! Especially: Fear will not keep me safe. Safe is not necessary.
