Remembering Myself

I sit here in repose

Remembering myself

Unfolding peace

Like a shawl around my shoulders

The doings of the week

Fall away,

Fall away,

Until they are heaped like feathers

At my feet.

One good wind,

And they’re gone.

Lovely. Yes, it is just that easy, isn’t it? How complicated we make our lives. How Spirit must laugh at our needless “suffering.” Nice to be reading your poems again, Alix. hugs, pat

    Hey Pat,
    Welcome back!
It’s great to have you here again.
I agree with you–so much of our spirit journeys are just us getting out of our own way!
We make it all so complicated, don’t we?
    Hugs,
    Alix
